Photoshoot with Gabriel Moginot by Armin Morbach for the second issue of HORST magazine is pretty disturbing. I know that men wear corsets since forever, but not shaped like this. I'm not saying that I don't like it, I'm just confused, well that's the modern fashion is about, isn't it?
Sesja w magazynie Horst z pewnością zapada w pamięć. Co prawda, gorset nie opina 33centymetrowej talii ,jak we wrześniowym Vogue Italia opinał Stellę Tennant; lecz ciało młodego projektanta Gabriela Moginota. Męskie 55cm bez photoshopa (w przeciwieństwie do Stelli) robi wrażenie. Sportowe stylizacje i niewymuszone pozy świetnie kontrastują z nienaturalną modyfikacją ciała. Mimo wszystko mam mieszane odczucia. Nie ze względu na gorset sam w sobie, bo mężczyźni noszą je od dawien dawna, aby podkreślić trójkątny tors czy chociażby szerokie ramiona. Konfunduje mnie jedynie fakt, że Moginot nosi damskie fasony, które w istocie miast podkreślać, deformują. Całość dość ciekawie, zdecydowanie odważnie. Podziwiam za wytrwałość, to na pewno!
